Nikita Nenashev is a ceramic artist, born and raised in Madison, WI. He obtained his BFA in ceramics from the University of Utah in 2019. While earning his BFA he completed studio assistantships at Adamah Clay Studios, WI and Peters Valley School of Craft, NJ. Upon completing his degree he traveled to Sasayama, Japan to study with and assist John Dix. After returning to the United States Nenashev completed a two-year residency at Cub Creek Foundation in Virginia and a studio assistantship with Tara Wilson. He is currently living and working as a resident artist at Pleasant Hill Pottery outside of Eugene, OR.
